Coaching Girls Football

Course Entry Requirements

Anyone aged 16 or over may apply.

Course Outline

The aim of the workshop is to provide all coaches and volunteers working in the girl’s game, with players aged 7 years and above, with an overview of:

• Why girls get involved in football

• Creating a healthy, safe and inclusive environment for girls to play football

• Meeting the needs of female players

• Maturation, puberty and the menstrual cycle

• Body image & appreciation

• Implications for coaches and volunteers to support mental & physical wellbeing

The 3 hour course can be delivered through an online webinar or face to face. Candidates will receive a certificate entitled ‘Coaching Girls Football’

On completion of this module, 5 CPD points will be awarded to accredited UEFA C Licence coaches. UEFA B, A & Pro Licence holders are excluded from receiving CPD points.
