The UEFA B Goalkeeper Diploma is for GK coaches working with high level youth and adult goalkeepers. The course will help GK Coaches work as a valued member within an integrated coaching staff, to enable the GK coach to be a part of the team rather than apart from the team.

Topics include:

• Analysis

• Tactical considerations

• Presentation Skills and Self Development

• Fitness, Nutrition, Sleep and Recovery

• Periodisation

• Psychology

• GK Functional Practices

Coaches will be assessed by Pre and Post course tasks, with a final club-based practical assessment.

COURSE ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a valid UEFA C Diploma and an Irish FA Goalkeeping Diploma

~ A candidate with seven years senior professional GK playing or coaching career (in the top league) may also apply

• The course will be delivered in English, and candidates are required to have a good command of spoken and written English
